The Times Of India, Aug 9 2014, Aurangabad: Inaugurating ‘Udyog Kranti’, a two-day seminar for entrepreneurs, here on Friday, Madhavrao Bhide, founder and managing trustee of Saturday Club Global Trust, said the policies of the new government at the Centre were looking favorable for entrepreneurs. He said that entrepreneurs should garb the opportunities and prove themselves.
The proposed Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) would open up new vistas for regional entrepreneurs, he said. “The entrepreneurs in the region are getting a big platform in the form of DMIC to showcase their creativity on the global front? The entrepreneurs in the state should show the world that Maharashtra is not just a land of service class people but is it a land of entrepreneurs.”
Bhide also appealed to the established and successful entrepreneurs to extend a helping hand to new entrepreneurs.
In his keynote address, Ram Bhogle, a successful entrepreneur of the region, said entrepreneurs should have the ability to mold themselves as per market conditions. He also stressed on information sharing among entrepreneurs.
Saturday Club Global Trust, a public trust formed to help budding entrepreneurs from the state, has sizable members in several cities in the state and also in Dubai, the US, Australia, Hong Kong, London, etc.
