Judgment Indicts the Government, Vindicates the Fighters against Corruption
IAC – Hyderabad welcomes the Supreme Court’s land mark judgments on three important issues today. The cancellation of all 122 spectrum licenses given in January 2008, indicts the government. The judgment vindicates the stand of all the civil society members who have been fighting against corruption.
The argument which has been be made by the government, that the decision to allocate the licenses was taken by then telecom minister A.Raja has been quashed by today’s judgment that has held the entire government and cabinet collectively responsible.
The judgment also comes as a big blow to the corrupt corporate world, who has been the beneficiaries of the deep routed nexus with government and the bureaucrats.
Another important judgment by the court directing the CBI to submit the status of the 2G case to the CVC will have its larger implications not just in this case but also in all other cases of corruption which are under Investigation by CBI.
IAC – Hyderabad believes that today’s judgments by the Honorable court will further empower the citizens of this country with a believe that no one is above the law, no matter how big may the company be, no matter how big the position the person may hold, truth prevails.
